Our process

Every article on MatchupOdds is written by the MatchupOdds team to be useful for bettors who want to understand the math and the markets. We don't write to a content quota. We don't pad. We don't write articles that are mostly setup or summaries.

We research using public market data, historical pricing references, and our own working knowledge of the U.S. sports betting market. Where math is involved, we show the math. Where claims are made, we make sure they're defensible.

How we use odds data

The live odds on MatchupOdds come from a third-party sports data provider that aggregates bookmaker prices. The data refreshes every few minutes; the timestamp on each comparison page reflects freshness.

Articles in the Insights section reference odds conceptually (e.g., "a -110 spread implies 52.4%") rather than as point-in-time pricing. Live pricing belongs on the comparison pages where it can be kept current.

Affiliate disclosure

MatchupOdds, operated by Jagan Worldwide Games, participates in sportsbook affiliate programs. We may receive commissions when users sign up at a sportsbook through links on the site. Affiliate relationships do not influence which odds are displayed or which book is highlighted as the best price. They also do not influence editorial coverage in articles.

If we mention a sportsbook in an article, it's because the article is about that book or because the book is relevant context. We don't accept payment to feature operators in editorial content.

Corrections policy

If you find a factual error or a math mistake in any article, email [email protected]. We correct errors as soon as we can verify them and add a "Last updated" note to the article.
